Shelley Sparks Biography
Founder of Harmony Gardens
Shelley is a disciple of His Holiness Grandmaster Lin Yun, founder, and Her Holiness Khadro Crystal Chu Rinpoche, current leader, of the Black Sect Tantric Buddhist School of Feng Shui. She has been studying Feng Shui for more than eighteen years. Shelley is author of the International Book Award winning “Secrets of the Land, Designing Harmonious Gardens with Feng Shui” and the ebook, “Keep Plants Healthy, Monthly Actions for Beautiful Gardens.” She was a contributing author to “A Feng Shui Anthology, Contemporary Earth Design” and has written articles for Feng Shui the Journal, New Woman’s Spirit Magazine, Landscape Architect and Specifier News and les nouvelles esthetiques.
She teaches Feng Shui principles for U.C.L.A. Extension, Learning Tree University and the Learning Annex. Shelley was a featured speaker for the Second International Feng Shui Conference, 1997 and the National Meeting for the American Society of Landscape Architects, 1997 & 1998 and the International Conference of Esthetics and Dermatology, 1998.
She is a licensed Landscape Architect and has designed award winning residential landscapes. She has taught classes in landscape subjects including “The Garden As a Healing Space” and Designing for Horticultural Therapy: Requirements for Successful Landscapes” for U.C.L.A. Extension and “How to Design Your own Garden” for the Learning Annex.
Shelley lectures, writes,and consults throughout the United States. She analyzes the Feng Shui for people’s businesses, homes, and gardens. She has consulted for such entities as Los Angeles Chinatown Metropolitan Transit Authority (Subway) station and Directtv headquarters.
