The clients here wanted to use drought tolerant plants and were open to the many wonderful textures of succulents as well as grasses that were put together to offer them a rich and beautiful composition to enjoy as they enter their home each day. The rear yard has broad paths of decomposed granite with sculpted planted mounds to give depth and interest to an intensely shaded area.
