As water grows scarce it will be important to preserve the water that we use on our landscapes. This yard shows a how lush, colorful and interesting a landscape can use far less water than the average landscape. Here we used combinations of succulents, cacti, Mediterranean plants and California native plants to draw beautiful patterns and juxtapose the planting to the meandering flagstone path and the carefully selected and placed rocks. There is something flowering in this garden at all times.
